If you would like to study voice and Italian in a supportive and professional atmosphere, with teachers and coaches
who have a proven record of success, read on.
Our alumni have been among the winners of the Metropolitan Opera Auditions, the Marian Anderson Prize, have gotten
apprenticeships with established opera companies, and are now singing professionally.
Study with faculty who have sung and are singing at the Metropolitan
Opera, La Scala, San Francisco Opera, Covent Garden and have taught privately or given classes at the Curtis Institute, Westminster
Choir College, Ravinia Festival, NYU, Madrid's Opera Real and many more. (Please go to our Faculty page for full
biographies of our faculty.) As if that's
not enough, we're talking about three weeks in Florence...the Ponte Vecchio....the Duomo...Michelangelo....the Tuscan Hills....dining
outdoors on the old squares....gelato..... Perform
on one or both of our concerts at the end of the seminar!
"Almost too good to be true. The frequent lessons and coachings allowed
me to make faster progress than ever before. The experience of the Florence Voice Seminar certainly fulfilled my ideal"
Sara Posey, soprano
"Absoluely unforgettable. I found it an exhilarating feeling and
one conducive to improvement. I also appreciated the constant atmosphere of support and camaraderie that the teachers encouraged"
Julie Gregorio, soprano
My overall impression of the seminar was one of superb professionalism
amongst the teachers and administrators. I felt it was a well thought out program
that was extremely beneficial to me as a singer.

Please visit all our pages to learn more about our faculty, program, cultural trips, applying
and fees. We have built this program to benefit the singer who wants to improve
and who wants a career. It is intense, but also fun. Our faculty works together,
not against each other. It's a unique time to work on your technique, dramatic presentation and artistry and have daily Ialian
classes. It's also a unique time to get in touch with great art, architecture and that unique Florentine life style that includes sipping espresso or lemonade for hours while you people
watch on the square, facing Michelangelo's David in front of a 14th Century
palazzo.
